Stackpole's a mensch of many years long standing in the RPG community -- he was one of the first people to call scientifically based bullshit on the whole "ROLEPLAYING GAMES ARE A SATANIC CONSPIRACY TO STEAL OUR CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDREN!" hysteria back in the day.
