Ow...

Well, in addition to the truck being out of commission, I pulled something in my back while I was pouring cat food of all things. Fortunately, it's not a constant pain, and after the application of a heating pad, it doesn't hurt as much to move, but I still can't bend over at the waist without a considerable amount of discomfort. I was planning to do a lot of household chores today, all of which would involve me bending over and/or lifting things.

If this doesn't clear up by tomorrow, it's just going to make my week that much more miserable.

All of these things happening at once is reminding me of the nightmare events that occurred right before Sam's birthday back in October. At least this time no one has contracted Swine Flu or had a flare up of Bell's Palsy. Knock on wood. Like I told Sam last night: This could only happen to us.
