If I had half as much talent...
Aug. 6th, 2011 10:24 amAgenda for today:
• Head out to see the boyfriend's dad do an hour-long gig with his band.
• Come back to town to check out the Yancey County arts and crafts show and also to drop in on his mother's tent for her pottery. (Not sure if the gallery she co-owns with two other artists is going to have a tent too. Probably not.)
• Once more admire the fact that my boyfriend's family is full of truly gifted artists. (Oh, I've failed to mention his father, in addition to being a great musician and singer, is also a chef at his day job.)
• Also, must bring camera along.
• Kick self for forgetting to purchase sunblock. Oh well, It's supposed to be rainy today anyway. (Heh, yeah, I'm sure my arms will be lobster red when I get home regardless.)
