Blah

I haven't been posting much, I know. I'm getting used to being back on a school schedule in addition to dealing with some personal issues. The kiddo is, at least, doing pretty well with school, though next week he starts having homework so we'll see if he's still as enthusiastic come Monday. (I'm sure he will be, I just expect some difficulties to crop up eventually.)

I've wanted to write more than I have, but of course it's been a little difficult. This weekend I plan to make myself write more since Sam'll be working and the it'll be just the kiddo and me here.

Today I have to pay the cable bill over the phone and then pick up the kiddo this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll do my big grocery shopping for the month, or at least the trip where I buy the bulk of my non-perishable items. So yeah, a mostly calm weekend if I can manage it.

In other news...

• Finally finished Ghost Story yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it and how much it managed not to piss me off. Had a couple of issues with it, which I may or may not get into later, but overall I say it was worth the money and time to read it.

• I got my first "Kudos" on one of the stories I have up on Archive of Our Own. Naturally, it's the one with the most hits so far, and, of course, it's my Kalecgos/Arygos story. I have another idea for them brewing in my head, just need to work out the kinks (heh, pun!) and figure out when it happens. I also have one for Savitry, though that'll be all about the angst rather than containing any happy fun times.
