R.I.P.

So, Ed McMahon died the other day after a bout of pneumonia, Farrah Fawcett succombed to cancer this morning (after a three-year battle), and now Michael Jackson died this afternoon from a heartattack. Wow.

I've never really cared much for Michael Jackson (well, after the 80s when he was all the rage), and I won't speculate as to the controversy that surrounded him in recent years. What I will say is that it was clear he led a troubled life after becoming a child star at the tender age of 13. I hope that he finds the peace in death he so desperately needed in life, and I hope his family also finds peace in this troubling time.
