Title: Prologue
Rating/Warning: R (Violence and naughty language.)
Word Count: I never know.
Author's Notes: This is a prologue I stumbled upon today when the idea for writing a novel based on my rp character Selene started bouncing around in my head again. (I blame reading Steven Brust for the inspiration.) I'd forgotten that I wrote this months ago, and surprisingly I actually liked it on my re-read. It's not great, but I captured Selene's 'voice' perfectly and I can easily see myself going places with this. Hey, I've got to start somewhere, right?
