I looked up Crash Test Dummies' music video for "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm" for a silly reason. Anyway I happened to look down at the comments and the first comment I see is this:

I wish I was around when this music came out. It's so much better than the crap that is popular today.

I was in middle school when this song was released, but I was in high school the first time I heard it (I was a very sheltered child and was listening to country music at the time).
